Drill bits size: Dimater 6.0mm and 150mm length. 0.1mm straightness is required.
This is a automatic straightening machine, this machine is used to deal with the drill bit which are not easy to be picked up in Auto Mode.
So for this machine, we load the drill bits manually.
The straightness can be set in the PLC system according to the requirements. normally for the such drill bits, the straightness is set around 0.20mm.
But for the medical drill bits, the straightness should be set around 0.05mm.
This machine is equipped with the grating ruler (displacement sensor), the resolution of this sensor can be up to 0.0005mm，its accuracy is 0.002mm.
The system need to use this ruler to measure the runout for the current position, if the tollerance is large, then it needs to straighten it.
After each straightening cycle, the system would always double check if the current runout is within the expected straightness parameter.
