A screwdriver bit transmits torque through a slim, hardened shaft — any bend in that shaft shows up instantly in use as wobble, cam-out and damaged fastener recesses. Bits also work at the interface of mass production and precision: millions of pieces, each expected to run true. Straightening the bit after manufacturing and heat treatment is what makes that expectation realistic.
This machine is an automated integrated device combining servo, pneumatic and PLC technology to achieve rapid straightening. The straightening principle: detect straightness at the predefined position, apply the corresponding force to eliminate internal stress, and bend the part to the required straightness. Workpieces include various industrial drill bits, screwdriver bits and round rods.
